Join me for the latest interview with Gus Mueller of Flying Meat as he discusses his work and experiences with Cocoa. His award-winning app, VoodooPad is now accompanied by FlySketch and FlyGesture. Check out his useful and popular creations at Flying Meat and enjoy the interview. I hope you are inspired to go write some code!
Gus' newest addition, FlyGesture, enables some very cool possibilities for simplifying tasks... or as he puts it, "Move a little, do a lot." - I like that better.
FlyGesture is activated like Exposé or Dashboard, bringing up a transparent window of "guides" to move your mouse through. Moving your mouse through the guides lets FlyGesture know what action or actions you want to be performed, such as closing a window or opening an application. Not getting it? Here's a movie [example below] that demonstrates creating and using a new gesture to open Safari.

This Podcast only shows me a QT Video in iTunes 5. I can not grab the actual audio file through itunes.

This is the first time I've used a .m4b file of the podcast (vs. m4a) to make sure bookmarking works for all. I don't see any reason why iTunes isn't indexing the linked file. The movie link was picked up but I've since nixed that link.
If anyone can ID the problem, please drop me a line. Thanks.

Well, iTMS re-indexed and it's purrin' like a kitten now : ) Thanks for your patience.

Great interview! I look forward to listening to your podcast.
Is there any chance of getting an interview with Wil Shipley? Would love to hear you walk him through Delicious Library.

Thanks Marcus! The feedback is encouraging.
Honestly, I've lost count of the requests to have Wil Shipley on the show. His invitation was likely lost in a heap of congratulatory email about Dellicious Library - rightly deserved, btw! Also, his WWDC presentation and slides are something every Mac developer should get.
I'll try him again. In the meantime, if anyone reading is a personal friend of his, have him get in touch.
