2006 is upon us and I'm aiming to make CocoaRadio much more than it has been its first 6 months. This should be a banner year for Apple. With the rising tide of increasing market share will come increasing potential for you, the developer.
If you're new to Cocoa, it's time to put your thoughts into Xcode; polish your existing projects; or to take the plunge from other worlds -if that's what's holding you back. As many have proven in 2005, the Mac market is vibrant and full of iPod switchers not used to the elegant apps which Cocoa makes possible. Commercial opportunities abound for the right idea executed well. While you're getting busy in Xcode, don't forget the importance of solid UI and icons to match your obj-c code.
If you can contribute in any way to CocoaRadio in 2006, please contact me or post in comments below. I'd be happy to hear your thoughts on opening CocoaRadio up to you all.
The following areas is where I could use your help immediately:
- Migration to new CMS (leaning towards WordPress)
- Audio intro à la Diggnation, ChinesePod, TWiT, etc
- Audio engineering and mastering
- Local video interviews
If you're otherwise full up on work and time, please consider a cash contribution via PayPal to cocoaradio@mac.com or just click the button below. Thanks in advance!
I've recently purchased a Blue mic and will be setting up a mixer and Soundtrack Pro as time and funds allow.

D'you still need help with audio, local interviews, etc.? I'm start just starting to learn Obj-C/Cocoa, but I've got a lot of media experience under my belt, if you could use it. :)
