Jim Matthews takes a few minutes during Macworld to share his story on Fetch the long-lived Mac FTP client. Jim was a developer at Dartmouth College in the U.S. working on Fetch and a few years ago won big on the TV show, "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire." If that sounds like a career plan, you'd be better off reading this or this or this :-) With his newfound wealth, Jim decided to buy Fetch from Dartmouth and founded Fetch Softworks where he continues to build on the application.
For those belly achin' about Universal Binary mods for Intel, Jim had Fetch v.4 running on System 4.1 and PPC native on OS X! So, who's your daddy?
